While this isn't a 818 it is a very sweet build using a Subi motor. Some of the build details will dovetail nicely in a 818 build. Following the entire thread is worth the time and the video near the end worth watching. Amazing HP / Trq numbers from a little 2 Liter motor. The car is stupid quick.

Yeah JDM V8 Spec-C. the engine I intend to procure eventually.
Did he mention which turbo he was using? Man the vid where he guns it is jaw dropping and makes me salivate.
I must say that that engine could be tuned higher as I'm pretty sure the spec-C has forged internals. I'm curious to see what that dyno pull would look like with E85 gas and AVCS enabled.

If he's using the stock turbo, it's a VF-36. Non spec-C jdm twin-scrolls are using a VF-37, which is basically the same but the VF-36 has ball bearings.
