Hi Jester,
The D/S loop can either be welded or bolted to the frame rails. For bolt in you'll need to model the loop in place with the front u-joint and the loop to cover the weld of the shaft. You'll need a .525-.531" bit for the 3/8" riv-nut to insert into.
The actual specs I'll need to measure tomorrow at work.

Do you have any pic's?

Hi Guys,
The driveshaft loop I make weight about 9 lbs with hardware. It is made of 2" wide x .25" thick steel. It countour fits right on the 4" round tubing of each frame rail.

This is a great product - you can see mine installed (with bolts just holding it in place - fingertight) within the chassis if you look cloesly at the right side of this picture.

The loop also comes with hardward, including riv-nuts to be installed in the large round tubes of the chassis. I made a simple riv-nut puller out of scrap metal and bolts that I had laying around and it worked great. Here is a picture of the tool.

If you do a search, there are some good write-ups on the installation of this safety measure, both here and at the other forum.
