Would a 2000-2004 V6 donor mustang provide good brakes, transmission, steering, etc if I got a V8 engine separately?

My guess is the wiring harness would not work. Does the bell housing of the transmission off a V6 match a modular 4.6.

Other concerns?

Thanks :)

Spindles, control arms, steering rack and front brakes will work but the spindles will move the wheels outward ~3/8" which with some of the commonly used wheel/tire combinations puts the edge of the tire past the fender. Rear axle is a 7.5 which is weaker and most likely not a Trac Loc. It is also wider and will not allow wide wheels without narrowing it or using custom offsets. Not sure which trans is used. The body harness could be made to work but I doubt that the engine harness is compatible. Wouldn't be worth the effort IMO.
