Hello
I have just completed the first first 400 miles including a great trip to Goodwood members meeting this weekend. On my return trip the error light on my OBD port lit up and following a scan the following code has appeared: “P068A ECM/PCM Power Rely De-Engergized Performance - Too Early”
I have done some research but only found one prior post on this topic (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?52243-Error-Code-P068A-on-Coyote-Gen-3&highlight=p068A)
This suggests that one of the problems can be due to a faulty earth connection either at the battery or off the ECU harness. I have checked both of these on my car and they are all ok. However, the fault code will not clear (see attached pic below).
The trigger for the fault appears to be that when switching off the ignition the power to the ECU is cut off too early which prevents the ECU from shutting down properly. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who has experienced this before, or has any suggestions as to what I can check. Does anyone think the problem could be a fuse or relay in the ECU harness fuse box, such as JC1, JC5, R1 or R6?
Any thoughts or pointers would be gratefully received. I don’t think the ECU itself is faulty as it is so new.
Thank you in advance.
