hello there we worked on our cobra all weekend and ran into a snag. do we use the steering shaft parts from the mustang? we looked everywhere for the shaft and nuckles and could not find them. we mouted the stem where the steering wheel mounts but that is all we could figure out. also I started on the dash and cannot find the gauge bolts and spacers anywhere?

The only parts used from the donor column are the ignition switch and the turn signal lever. The steering shaft parts I think were in the second or third box of the kit. Should be on your parts list.
I think you have to request the gauge adapter kit. They don't send it automatically because most don't use the donor gauges

I ordered the gauge kit with my base kit but decided to buy the ultre lite gauges. With that said are you interested in buying my kit? Call me at 757 424 2570.

I just checked my order form and the gauge adapter is part of the base kit. PN 10893. If not received check your back order sheet...................tom vincent
Thanks Tom, but I have a set from Speedhut.
I think what has happened is that more people who order the base kit buy gauges than those that adapt the donor parts. So F5 is saving themselves some money by only shipping the adapter kit if it is requested. This should not cost the customer any more because the adapter kit is included in the base kit price. I wouldn't blame them in this economy you need to cut costs anywhere you can.
