Clear blue sky. Warm sun. Nice dry air. 70 degrees. Perfect weather to go put some miles on the roadster! :D

But......One of the torsion springs on my garage door broke, so I can't get the car out. I'll be ordering springs tomorrow.

I guess I'll be a couch potato and watch NASCAR instead. :(

I got the door open late last week just to get my wife's minivan out and then closed it. It's a double-wide door and I don't want to risk opening the door again and have it get twisted or come off the tracks and coming crashing down on my roadster. Hopefully the springs will get here in a reasonable amount of time and I'll be on the road again!

Drive the minivan through the door, and follow through the hole with the roadster. Think of it like a fullback blocking for the running back!! It's the only way!!

You don't need no stinkin' torsion bars!! Don't waste the good weather!!

;-o)

Thanks for the suggestion, Steve. I didn't have a chance to act on the suggestion since the weather was iffy for the rest of the week. 70% chance of rain for the rest of this weekend also. Fortunately, the Big Brown Truck should be dropping of a set of springs Monday. Tuesday, I'll be installing them and my roadster will be seeing the light of day!

Woo-hoo! The springs were delivered yesterday and I installed them today (not difficult or dangerous if you're careful!). Just got back from a long-overdue drive, and the roadster was happy to be outside!
