For those that have been around the block a few times, you'll remember the titles unlimited fiasco (if not, google California vs Titles Unlimited), well, I bring you version 2.0 of the same from the state of California, something I've been warning people about for years.

I know here in SC, state police have been known to walk through the larger shows and Cars and Coffee type cruises looking for Montana plates, I've heard from friends in Virginia and North Carolina with similar stories.......Won't be long before others join the fray.

Yep, got neighbors here using Montana plates to avoid taxes also, never learn

Some of us have no choice but to go with the Montana plate solution. I have already been told I will not be able to get my car registered in Texas as I cannot prove the engine is not stolen. I have every receipt for every nut, bolt, and washer that went into my engine build, but that is not good enough.

I am going to try and switch to Texas plates once I get a Montana plate on it. This is not the way I want to go, but Texas is leaving me with no choice.
