I know some of you have put together the same combo as I am using - Tremec T56 with the Coyote and QT Bellhousing and I'm hoping you can share your experience and observations. While in the process of mounting my HRB I had two concerns. One was in regard to the very little space left between the retaining ear/boss and the nut on the retaining stud. I was pretty certain this was OK but I called them this morning to make sure.

He did indicate this was fine but in the process of this conversation the tech also confirmed with me that I had the "Ford" T56. He commented on where the retaining stud mounted and how there are aluminum castings there that may require grinding/clearancing of the nut to fit down in between. Now, as you can see from both of my pictures, my stud is down, torqued and Loctite-ed in place and still has probably a turn and a half to reach those castings so I am thinking he just isn't familiar enough with the transmission to know this? Also, the picture is slightly misleading because of shadowing. The threaded section is seated firmly against the face of the transmission - there is no gap as it looks in the picture.

So essentially, I am just looking for feedback on what others experienced. I think I am good to go as I double checked all this again but thought it wise to validate with others' experiences.

Looked at my build pictures and nothing from that area. But just happened to have my Coupe up on the lift as of a couple hours ago for annual maintenance. Just took this pic of the area in question. No extra charge for 10K worth of clutch dust and whatever. Maybe this helps? Seems my HRB is out further than yours. Probably different clutch? Mine is a Ford Performance M-7560-T46. A Ford branded dual friction Centerforce part.

Thanks Paul, the dust is accepted free of charge! You have actually answered one of the two questions. Your retainer stud is screwed in the same amount as mine. You are correct though, there are more threads showing on your HRB which would indicate its taller. I just confirmed from my Summit order my clutch and pressure plate are the same part number as you listed. I also installed flywheel M-6375-M50 and the bell housing is the RM-8080. I don't suppose you have your original dimensions written down anywhere?

My measurements are 2.386." to the fingers from the face of the bell housing. I subtracted 0.125" to come up with an overall height of the TOB to be 2.261". Unless something else pops up, I am going to assume all is good and continue forward.

No, I don't have the dimensions from my installation. I'm confident I got it set up properly and it works perfectly. I can't explain why they look different but as long as you've confirmed the measurements, I'm sure it will be fine. Parts could easily have changed since 2018 when I installed mine.
