Question about the Keiner mod quick jack setup. For the gas tank side bolt, I was able to get a 3/4" long 7/16-14 Bolt because that was the smallest I could find locally. Either way, I was able to fit it through the hole from the tank side just fine without having to drop the tank. I'm wondering if people use washers on the tank side or where the coupler screws in or no? Also do people loctite this bolt into the coupler or use lock washers or neither? I know not to loctite the threaded rod portion, I'm more so specifically curious about the tank side bolt. I also want to make sure I have enough threads into the coupler as well.
Thanks
Mark

I used a washer but I think it would work ok without one. At the end of the day the quick jacks are mostly cosmetic. They hold the body in place but as long as you have 3-4 threads in the coupler I think you would be fine.

Thanks you, did you loctite the bolt at all or just tighten down on it.

I used double washers on both sides and some blue loctite.

Washer under the bolt and just crank it down; no thread locker.
