Has something changed with picture uploads?

Could not find a forum specific group to post in for forum issues. Sorry if I missed it.
Been trying to upload pictures like I always have in a post over the last day. I am able to choose the pictures and they go through the process with no errors but never show up in the post. If I try the same thing again I get an error that it failed. I also tried to create an album and the same thing happened. I selected files to upload to the album and they never show up for me to add them to the album. I tried this process on more than one browser (Edge and DuckDuckGo) to be sure of some new update. Exact same results in both.
So either something changed in the process or the forum is having issues?

I had the same problem and found that my pictures were TOO big. Using the Preview App on my iPad, I resized the picture files and they uploaded fine.

A few recent posts on this. Something changed not sure what. On an iphone I have to screen shot the picture, resave it, crop it, then upload it. Never had to before so likely something changed. At least on the phone it seems to be the heic file type but even turning off live photo didnt help.

Thanks Dave. That did resolve it. I did not try that since I was using the exact same process I have in all my other post. Same phone with the same settings. Transfer pictures to OneDrive then use the same laptop to post. Not one thing is different. But this worked and I will remember to resize them in future post. Maybe something resized them on the fly before? Thanks for the quick response.

May not be related, but I load time to view anything on the site, is excessive.
If I click on a link or thread, the site goes into a loading mode and runs for several minutes.
I usually leave the site, with it open and running. Sometimes it has updated, loaded and available, other times it is still loading.
This is the only site I am experiencing this.
The wait time is excessive and I am unable to monitor and read post.

I think picture size is being enforced. Your pics have to be 2mb or less. I used to be able to upload them regardless of size. I downloaded a compression app and it fixed it. Back to uploading pics as normal.
