That thing looks like it was designed for crowd control; as in, to slice through!

Thank you.

I didn't want to be the one to point out the obvious. I've played template cop one to many times.:)

I guess I'm the odd man out. Too overstyled, too gimmiky. It's a thumbs down for me.

Of course, I'm not a 1%er....so I'm not the target demographic.

You are not alone with that; I'm not impressed either. Looks like the designer watched a lot of Speed Racer as a child...

I agree with both of you. Not my cup of tea.

I have to admit, it has a effect on me (HOF) at first but after seeing it a couple of times it wears off and it starts to look like it's getting into "batmobile" territory. It's just too extreme for me (can't believe I said that)! WEK.

It would definitely set your hair on fire... and then blow the flames out!

I have this visual of a Caterham 7 top cobbled onto the top of it for rain protection! ;-)

IMO, the track 818 should look a bit like this because it has the following features:
* No windshield
* No roof
* No doors
* Low nose and big rear wing for downforce

That makes four. I'm too old for a car that looks like that.............:)

I'm not. 700hp, > 3500lb, and evil looking? you could paint it lime green and pink and I would rock that all day and night.

No argument, really. Plenty of others besides you are going to get that hair-on-fire feel from this shape. I'm just not one of them.

It really is just an outrageous, and totally juvenile, cartoon of a car.

the hardtops not so bad, gives a heritage feeling. they are making the best cars they have ever made with these new monocoque tub cars. like the siesto de elemento better. 2500lbs - all wheel drive - current lambo v10 (550hp i think) mmmmmmmm....much more provoking lines on the car, shorter like the gallardo. need to put that into production.

Here's another one that wouldn't be practical as-designed. For anyone currently using Solidworks 2012, this one pops up every 8 or so images upon opening the software. No rear view to speak of (side view mirrors become paramount and a rear mounted camera would be a good idea, too), cockpit looks wide enough for one and a half people (get out the meat saw if you want to bring a passenger), view out the side windows (what there is of them) is an accident waiting to happen. There are many others that could be pointed out if more views of the car were available. However, all that said, she is a looker.

At least the driver fits into the Aventador. It wouldn't work at all as a car with a roof but it isn't representing itself as a coupe. That stupid Solidworks car is a total fraud and an insult to the design profession. It is also a pretty good argument why Solidworks isn't used for body design.

Sadly missed... will catch up over the next few weeks.
They are the funniest guys out there right now! (and the humour is backed up with incredible cars)
