Hi All,
I’m down in Franklin TN (Nashville area). I have a FF Roadster with a Ford small block 5 liter V8 engine it (from 93 Mustang GT). I’m having an issue with my fuel system. I suspect that the gas in the tank has gone bad and plugged the fuel filter and or the fuel regulator has gone bad. It will start with difficulty but will not stay running without a lot of effort. Also, no fuel comes out of the presto valve near the manifold. I don’t have the ability to work on it any more and can’t find an auto shop in my area that will work on it for me. Does anyone live in this area that might know of a shop that will work on these cars?
Thanks,
Jeff

If its a Mark 3 or newer there is an access panel in the trunk to get to the pump. Remove the pump and check the rubber tube that connects the pump to the hanger. I have seen them split over time and dumping the fuel right back into the tank.

Also check to make sure the pump is actually running.

Hi Mike,
Thanks I will check that. I have a late MK 3 with a few things from the 4.
And yes, the fuel pump is running… hear it every time I turn the key to on.
