Hey gang...novice question. Go easy on me.

My short block builder reached out to me on harmonic balancer details.

1. Preferred timing point location. I'm assuming 11'oclock position is best with lower radiator hose on driver side and mechanical fuel pump taking up real estate on driver side. Water pump will be standard CW rotation.

2. 3 or 4 bolt pattern. I'm assuming 4 bolt is OK for aftermarket accessory systems. Any reason to go with a 3 bolt pattern? Their offering is not for a dual bolt pattern.

3. Damper length. Stock Ford 302 OEM dampers are 3" OAL as far as I can tell. I'm assuming I can use spacers for later alignment with the alternator, water pump and PS pulleys?

Would I be better off having the damper supplied as part of the accessory package for coordination purposes?
