New Tires/Tyres

After a dozen years of enjoyment, I think it's time for some new rubber. Car is a FFR MK4 Roadster, 306/340hp, T5, 3.55:1 Rear Axle, street only. My original tires are Nitto NT555s. Front 255/40ZR17 & Rear 315/235 ZR17 on FFR supplied Halibrand Wheels.
I've been perfectly happy with these tires, but curious as to what brands/sizes others are using on a somewhat comparable car?

Lots of street driven cars are happy with the Nitto 555G2. Just an update on the 555s that you've been running.
