After fitting the headlights it just doesn't fitt the body well. I've tried to get equal space all around but still doesn't look good. To me I feel it needs to match the body closer any ideas as how to make it look better or is this
the norm.

Can't really tell by your pic. Not sure what you mean by it not fitting well. Does the bucket sit flush to the car? If so, then it's just a matter of fitting the light to the two set screws, securing with the third screw then adjusting as needed for beam alignment. Maybe a shot from the side will give a little more info.

The headlight pad is a bit larger then the headlight. So short of body work (or different headlights???) there is going to be a space around. Hard to tell from your picture but it doesn't looks well centered. You may have to adjust the holes in the body. Looks fine if the space is the same all around.

Sometimes you need to open up the big hole as well as enlarge the reference holes at 12 and 9 o’clock. I can tell you that if you obsess over this too much you’re really going to melt down when you realize that one headlight is farther rearward than the other and that they are “crossed” ;)

Didn't know that. Just when I was about to align my beams tonight. :p

Ok I've only done one and after I really thought that they would look better as I really took the time to make sure the hole was centered. I'll make some small adjustments to make it look to the eye

Can’t tell for sure but it looks like maybe the bucket is mounted to low?? Like Jeff said if that’s the case probably needs a little finessing.
