Good Morning Everyone -
At this moment, our new website is up but our email receiving capabilities are down but Mad Dog is working on it and we should be good soon.
I thought I'd give an update on HB ...... so far we've got over 20 people registered which may not seem like many but compared to last year at this time (registration wasn't even up yet), that's awesome.
Another big difference from last year is that we are hoping to have our big rig out there on the Pier Plaza and that in itself makes such a huge impression on people that it surely will bring in even more spectators to the event, which is all good.
Karen Salvaggio, Dave Hodgkins and I have been talking about some fun things we could do in additional to the Saturday Cruise-in and when those plans have been solidified, one of us will post them, so stay tuned.
Another really exciting addition this year is that the Car Warriors West Coast Team will be there along with both of the FFR Hot Rods that were assembled on the show which will debut on April 4th, so you guys will be the very first people to see those great looking cars. Brad Fanshaw, whose was the West Coast Lead Tech from Car Warriors will be there to sign autographs and I'm hoping that we can also get Jimmy Shine, Host of Car Warriors and Ray McClelland, who was the Lead Tech for the East Coast Team.
Last but not least, if you are looking for overnight accommodations, The Shorebreak Hotel (www.shorebreakhotel.com) 877-744-1117 has agreed to be our host hotel again this year and will give anyone staying there for this event the room rate of $189.00 when they mention Factory Five Racing. I stayed there last year and it's a beautiful place - I highly recommend it. Not to mention it's right on the main drag.
That's it for now and look forward to seeing all of you next month. Please send me a personal message if you have any questions.

I'll be posting an update soon myself; We are indeed going to hopefully have a professional quality broadcast this year!
Also, I am hosting a Friday cruise and get-together at my place. Stay tuned for updates!

Hi Sally,
Mesa Mike here to let you know that I'll be there with all my DJ and PA set up again. Look forwarding to seeing you and Dave at HB this year. I am trying to get more of the AZ Club there. I dropped Levy Racing a note and recommend he bring his truck and vendor booth and to contact you for more info. So far the NorCal guys haven't shown much interest. Long drive for a one day event. See you there.

I am more than proud to sponsor the band to honor the new relationship between FFR and "33M" (LOL) but more importantly as a tribute to a new era of full ownership for Dave Smith. With the wind now at his back I think I speak for all of us when I say; "We can't wait to see what happens next!".

Jeff "Da Bat" Miller sent us this cool pic. The guy was simply off-the-hook at Car Warriors and you guys are going to see the car he painted since the Car Warriors Hot Rods will be on display at this year's show. Thanks Jeff and Dave Smith is looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
Also, I heard Jeff is announcing the Moment of Thunder Tribute to Dick Smith, Roger Stine, Robert Feddersen, Paul Mastroinni, and this year, especially Andy Salvaggio.
Click here ("http://www.factoryfive.com/whats-new/5th-annual-huntington-beach-cruise-in/') for more details about the show.

Riptide......I hope to have a chance to meet you and see your beautiful Coupe one day.....It's beautiful and looks smokin' fast. I'm thinking if you leave now you'd make it to CA in plenty of time for the party.... Besides, the One Lap of America starts in a few days, (the new version of the Cannonball Run, albeit much tamer), and since this year's event is focused up north, the roads might be all clear for you.....

Hi Everyone,
If you haven't registered for this year's event, please make sure you do so soon. Sally has everyone's welcome packets made, so it'd be great if we could get any last minute registrations submitted so their packets are put together as well.
