Hi all,
I've been going through the wiring and working on connecting the guages and switches for the dash.

The set of written instructions say to trim the brown horn wire and tie it back. Then it never circles back to say how to connect the horn.

The wiring schematic clearly shows the brown wire connecting to a switch.

Similar for the turns, it says to snip the rear turn signal wires out of the bundle..ok I guess.. is there some magic in the ecu that sends that signal to the rear?

Lastly.. why do I have 2 sets of front turn signal wires?

Thank you in advance

The basic wire harness is made for a separate switch for horn and turn signals. If you have the steering column with built in horn and turn signal stalk, it has it's own harness.

ok! I do have the IDIDIT column in there. I see that it has a wire harness that plugs into the main harness. Thank you very much! That was the mental piece I was missing.

These turn signal connectors I have at the dash (from the picture), it seems those aren't used then? I can just tape them up?

That makes sense why they snipped the hazard, the ididit has a hazard button too.

Ya, I just taped them off.
