Side Louvers

Finally got the nice aluminum preassembled louvers, so win there, however, when attempting to fit said louvers in my Mark 4, I find that on the driver's side, the louvers hit the outside of the pedal box! Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, what was the fix?

Sounds really strange. I have built many Mark 4s and have never encountered that.

Maybe the vent "direction" needs to be changed? Make sure the angle flows from inside front to outside rear...

It’s tight but mine done make contact. Can you take and post a picture?

Like Mike I have never had any make contact...close but don't touch.

I tried every direction, even the ones I knew were wrong! I did have a clearance issue with my headers, so I had to bring the body in. I'm guessing that's my issue. I ended up installing the supplied louvers from my kit. Anyone looking to purchase a set of very nice-looking preassembled aluminum louvers?
