I'm thinking of fitting a Borla 8 stack to the gen2 coyote I'm installing in my coupe. I've also been looking at a installing a mustang intake manifold which I think may have height issues as well. I've had to raise my engine 20mm already so before going either way if anyone has done this, please let me know.

You might reach out to Jim Inglese. He offers Coyote stack systems for low-profile applications. This is from his website:

Our Ford Coyote EFI's come with 55mm throttle bodies and can also be built with the Weber -type if a more vintage look is preferred. If it needs to fit under a 427 Cobra hood scoope, we also offer Coyote EFI's on a manifold that tilts the stacks inboard 10 degrees.

I can attest to the quality of his systems as I'm running one on my MK4 Roadster with a 347.

I second the idea of talking with Jim Inglese out of Lake City, FL

The one draw back with Coyotes in Cobras is the appearance. Its a big let down at the "cars and coffee" seeing a stock Coyote under the hood of a Cobra replica. They're just not an attractive engine. Some people try to jazz things up with painted covers. I looked at installing an 8 stack system on my 2012 Gen1 Coyote MkIV purely for aesthetics but decided against it. I'd have to write a big check to make the engine bay look pretty and get minimal to low/moderate performance benefits. For about he same money you can install a supercharger. This improves the appearance and delivers as much HP gain as you dare to run boost. Granted, the installation is a little more indepth than the 8-stack. For my 2012 build I installed a Boss 302 intake to help with appearance....and still fry tires on demand.
