This afternoon, Factory Five Racing has launched a new version of it's website. We've been working on this site since last summer and we're excited to have it live. We just switched this afternoon so it's still in the migration stage, but should be everywhere shortly. Hope you all like it!

Congratulation Dave! Clear and sharp, I like it. The black frames the images nicely. A lot of work went into this. Good job.

nice except for the fact that it appears all the customers car profiles are now missing...there were some good stories in there (including mine)... too bad.

Looks great Mad Dog. Well done. It's only missing a nice big button for the forums!

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys!
We had over 2,000 pages on the old website, mostly what's new stories, and because of how the old site's content was managed, it wasn't an easy conversion. I'm going to be spending a lot of time re-creating the what's new stories which will include the customer profiles. But we didn't want to wait another 2-3 months (if not longer) to get the website up, so we launched it with rebuilding the What's New as a project on our to-do list. Long story short - they'll be back!

The website is beautiful! Nice job.
I'd like to suggest that you alter that main image on the 818 page; the one that's just a bare, red body shell in side profile. If you're going to showcase something like that, the panels should line up. Reflects very poorly on the kind of excellence of which we know FFR is capable. If I was first visiting that site and saw that image, I'd be headed back to 'google' other kits.

I recently participated in a complete website redesign and migration for my employer so I can definitely appreciate the amount of work involved to get something like this accomplished.
Nice job, the new site looks great.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We worked with a great company close to FFR here on creating the new website. We had toyed around with various times to launch the site, originally hoping to get it up for New Year's with a teaser and countdown involved, but took the time to do things right and look at that...still launched in on the first.
Glad to read that everyone seems to be liking the updated site thus far.

Great job Mad Dog and FFR. It's a lot sleeker and fun to navigate! Thanks a lot for all your effort. WEK.

Hi FFR,
This phrase is not needed....really guys, these are politically "loaded" words "We won’t ask you to drink kool-aid or wear a brown shirt" and they do not belong on this wonderful new site.
I write conservative political commentary and know of what I speak.

I'm about a year from pulling the trigger on a '33..I get sweaty palms just thinking about building one...lol

Did the customer galleries ever get put back up?

Hi Carl,
Not yet. We've been working on other areas of the site and are slowly getting to putting a lot of the older content back up. We'll be working on the whole What's New section shortly. The old way we used to manage our content isn't the easiest to transfer over to our new CMS so it'll take a little bit of time to get everything back up.
