View Full Version : Pro-M Racing May Be Out of Business
When I started my new build last summer, I wanted the go-to fuel pump hanger from Pro-M Racing. When I saw the price had jumped from $179 to $400, I opted to go in a different direction. I'm now seeing several posts in various forms that they aren't responding and are not filling orders. I still see a few distributors offering the hangers at much lower prices, but would caution buyers to verify the distributor is legit and has the parts in stock before purchasing.

I had a pretty bad experience with them last year at about this time. Placed an order, never received anything, filed a dispute, received a credit and two months later received a hangar. Out of the blue. Called them several times to make arrangements to return, never heard from them. It's still sitting on my shelf.

I never really thought the Pro M was all that great. There are many other options out there for this. Aeromotive, ON3 Performance, Holley, Quantum Fuel Systems....

I used them several times. Their upgraded hangar was a big upgrade over a standard unit with the actual 3/8" lines, AN fittings, etc. Used to be a decent value even though you had to buy your own pump motor. This is what's running now in my Gen 3 Coupe. But with their price increase since the last time I bought one -- hard to comprehend -- there are other options. I have a Holly all-in-one pump in my Mk5 build. Seems decent and price was reasonable. Pro-M sold a number of other products. Quick search and found posts about Pro-M on other forums about change of ownership, major customer service issues, and perhaps now it's over.

Yep, I noticed their website was on again/off again a few months back, and it felt like they'd gone out of biz.
