I have a Gen I coupe and a hard copy (paper) assembly manual. I'm missing pages 176/177...is that where the turn signal template should be?

Can you send me a PDF for the missing page? cbergquist1@yahoo.com

Thank you.

Chris,

All of the templates are in the way back of the manual in the appendix.

Best regards,

Thanks Brian. Pages 176/177 are the last two pages of "Appendix A - Templates", and they are missing.

I also asked someone that has a new soft copy (a lot more pages and a big improvement) but it seems they are missing from that version also. REVISION 3E, AUGUST 2 0 1 1.

Turns out you don't need a template...the fiberglass has dimples molded in the head light opening to guide you in drilling the holes for the turn signals.

Yes but the manual should be corrected. Also, a number of the photos in the coupe manual are roadster photos...even for the head lights. I'm still trying to figure out how to tighten the screw that holds the chrome ring to the head light assembly. I think I'm just going to drill a hole that will double as a drain hole.

Chris, unless you seal up the headlight cover really well, I've found that water drains out the front of the headlight opening anyway. See my reply at the other place about just relying on the spring clip. It really does hold well.I got the idea from an older post over there.

I'll have to look at the spring clip again. The issue with drilling a drain hole is what are the chances I'd get it lined up correctly...:o
