I finished yesterday installing the accelerator pedal for my gen 3 coyote in the roadster. Only to discover that the head of the bolt is coming into contact with the steering shaft. I've looked and looked and I'm not sure what more I can adjust to keep this from happening.

Any advice? Do I just leave as is until the 2 surfaces wear down and dont touch anymore?

I don't remember what I did. Mine cleared but based on the pictures the easiest solution would be to change to a button head bolt.

Make sure that the bracket is as far to the right as it will go. Slot the bracket hole if necessary. I used a button head screw.

Thanks - button head seems like such an obvious solution after reading your responses
