View Full Version : Power steering rack - part number?

I have the FFR power steering rack in my MK5 build - threw away the box long ago (I think the rack was the very first item I bolted to the frame) and now that I am in go kart phase I have found a small leak at the input shaft seal. FFR is aware and plans to send a replacement rack, but I am trying to see if I can find a part number for the rack in order to try a replacement seal.
Anyone happen to have it?

Pretty sure its made for them. Copy of a 87-93 Mustang

MKIV here and on my engine 4th start my power steering rack also leaked at the input shaft seal. More than a small leak, puked out half the power steer reservoir worth. Call and they indicated the seal was not serviceable. I'll be VERY interested if you find that it can be replaced. Not looking forward to pulling it out. They said they are sending a warranty replacement but after 2 weeks have heard nothing on shipping.
