What fun and hats off to FFR for providing such a quality product. Now wait for the Virginia DMV to come inspect it so I can title, register and then drive when Spring arrives. I have a great body buck for anyone just starting. Free and you can pick it up in Marshall VA. It rolls and the bogey wheels retract with an easy step of your foot. I trailed it a hundred miles for paint so it tough.224680224681224682224683224684

Congratulations! That's a beautiful machine. Would have loved to have seen some build pics. Enjoy driving it!
Car looks great. I'm also envious of your location with all those great winding roads - love cruising in that area.

Looking good! Love the color. I’m building (slowly) an 818s so it’s nice to see a car be finished to keep my motivation going

Congrats! I'm going Ram Patriot Blue with no stripes. Pretty close to this. Waiting for my turn with Kleiner...nudge nudge, Jeff. ;)

Beautiful build - love the color! I also like the overriders - they look great on your car :)
BTW where did you find your side pipe covers? I haven't seen them before for the 3" side pipes.

Hi Rob, my records on the smaller items is in poor shape. I am pretty sure I got them from Shell Valley Vintage Wheels, go figure. The shields are for the 3.5 inch pipes like all of them. I called them and asked what about 3 inch pipes and they said oh, we’ll send them with clamps that fit 3”. Minor up charge and they fit and look fine. I got the raw finish since I was going with a cerkote finish.

As another note on the pipes, I read many times how loud the standard pipes are to the point of discomfort. I bought Dynatech spiral baffles which claim 6 to 7 dB noise reduction. I had them installed by a local welder. They should go in front of the stock baffle if you can call them baffles…. The sound is very bold but not loud. I got them through Speedway Motors.
