I've been following and picking up knowledge here for some time and plan to place an order for a roadster kit soon. I've long dreamed of owning a Cobra but have always postponed it—time to stop procrastinating. Just dropping in to say hello.

Welcome! Take it from another noob. Plan, plan, plan. But even after planning, search through the Forum via Google, it's easier. Especially if you want to upgrade after you order. I'm building in phases so I don't overwhelm my wife with the project costs all at once lol. FF is a great first resource and the Forum is fantastic for followup on certain steps, but key if you wish to modify. Best of luck!

Be ready to enjoy the journey w/o being totally anxious to get to the end. Hopefully you enjoy "fabrication" and aren't just expecting straight assembly.
Patience is needed for the multiple times you will take apart the same assembly trying to get it right, or because something was done out of order.
You will have a great brag in being able to build such a car -- but enjoy the building part of it! (I'm doing it, partially, with my wife's 13-year-old grandson!)
