Hi guys,

I first want to give a big thanks for all the builders who've been posting info about setting up our cars with the pin drive front suspension. Jphoenix, Mike.Bray, ehansen007 (I know I'm forgetting someone - sorry) - I don't know what most of us would be doing other than pulling out our hair. And I really don't have that option, so thanks again and please have a virtual beer on me!!!

While I'm waiting on my pin drive front suspension pieces, I'm trying to get the upper control arms set up based on the info from the forums. Shortening the rear threads on the UCAs and the associated adjusters. BTW I'm assuming I can just trim the adjusting sleeves (each end of course ;) ).

Jim mentioned in his build thread that the "Rev J" of the roadster manual was the one to use when setting up the pin drive suspension. I'm not sure if that includes additional info beyond what's been shared in the summary threads on this topic, but it would be great to get a copy for reference. I tried FF's doc repository and I can't find a copy of that revision. Would anyone have a link to that document that you can share?

Again, thanks for the help!

Rob

I have it in pdf, I’ll see if I can attach it here.

Edit - can't attach it too big, sent you a PM.

I'll extract page 86 that describes the UCA mounting, also I'll compress the entire manual to see if that allows me to either attach it here or PM it to you.
