Just finished a prototype mount for my Mishimoto coolant reservoir printed in carbon fiber nylon. Currently it’s 4 pieces because I wanted to make the mounting bolts easily accessible for ease of removal but I think I’m going to combine 2 of the pieces and clean it up. As is it’s rock solid though.

We need pics or at least a rendering (us geeky car guys need to see this).

That looks great, nice job.

My son just talked me in to a 3D printer. We got the Bambu P1S, not sure if it can print that carbon fiber nylon, but going to look in to it asap. Ive got a few ideas of things to print for the coupe.

Nice work! I really like the finish - looks very "technical".

That’s a nice printer, I got the Bambu H2S. You will be able to print PA-CF but you will need to swap your nozzle for a hardened one.

Wow! That's really impressive :)

I guess it's true...3D printing really is a game changer for creative Builders. Nicely done!

Looks great, nice work. Any chance you would be willing to share your files? Are you planning to put anything between the tank for insolation or would that even be needed with CF nylon?

Are you talking about insolation for galvanic corrosion protection? If so then no, it's really not needed. I guess in a sense I did by spraying it with a matte clear but I did that just to mitigate the nylon absorbing moisture. For there to be any real concern for corrosion it would have to be bare metal and in frequent contact with water.

As for the files I'm not sure yet, maybe. kinda wanna see what stuff I come up with while building this and maybe selling some parts.
