I have a completed MK4 roadster with the wilwood pedal assembly. I installed it in 2014 using the FFR provided clutch quadrant for a cable clutch assembly. I have 30,000 miles on my car and have begun to notice the clutch pedal is very wobbly. I can move it from side to side about 1/4 to 3/8ths of an inch. The cause is the assembly has worn at the pivot sleeve which I can see moving about 1/16th of an inch. It was recommended that I take out the assembly, expand the hole in the bracket to 5/8th and put a 5/8ths to 1/2 inch bushing. I began to attempt this by removing the pedal assembly. That's where I am having an issue. I am approaching it from under the dash and through the footbox access panel. I do not see a way of removing the assembly on a completed car. I have everything unbolted and the master cylinders removed. I cant get the assembly past the 3/4 inch frame that runs between the pedals. Has anyone done this before and can give me suggestions?
