Hey Y'All,
Does the Edelbrock Pro-Flo4 fuel pressure sensor need a specialized wrench or can a "large" socket be used, instead?
Here's a picture

I measured about 1&1/16" or 27mm between the "flats"...
Appreciate the help!

I would just use an adjustable wrench if it will fit and if you’re not looking to get a new tool;)

My bigger question is why are you wanting to remove the sensor from the take-off adapter fitting?
They are sold as a pair....

Just use an adjustable wrench. I had to tighten mine a bit. It leaked fuel

I don't think he's trying to separate the sensor from the fitting.

Thanks Henry & Greg! Mike also had the same recommendation :)
I'll give it a try...
Greg, did you re-apply any thread sealer to yours or just tighten up as-is?

Hi Earl,
As Greg mentioned, I just wanted to tighten it up a little...next approach would be to apply fresh Earl's sealant...last resort would be to replace the unit. If that is the scenario, do you know if that part number works for the Pro-Flo4 system, too? I'll give Edelbrock a call today to double-check :)

I didn't reapply any sealer. I just snugged it up a couple of turns.

Not sure, I think there are part number listings for all the sensors in your PF4 kit in the manual that came with it. Permatex aviation gasket sealer is my go to for any parts exposed to gas or oil, and it's likely to be readily available to you.

Wowsers! Aviation gasket maker takes me back to when I was learning about cars from my Dad & Grandpa :) Good times! I still have some of that stuff...
For those who might be interested, I checked the Edelbrock (as well as the Summit Racing) websites and the part number for the fuel pressure sensor (with included fittings) is OK to use for PF4 (in addition to PF3) applications...
