Posting outside of my build thread for attention and easier searching.

I got my RF Chassis Harness that included the RF Chassis Harness Manual Rev Y (Jan 2025), which I thought was the MKV. I was confused on reading it right at step 1. Called FF and got some clarification, but I probably should have got more.

You need to use the Type 65 Coupe online manual, not the RF manual (MK4) and there's not much in the MKV Roadster outside of turn signal wiring.

Background for mine - 347 / Edelbrock ProFlow4

Also got some notes from the build school I went to and one of the folks on here was in my class and shared a photo he took.

1 - Aluminium pieces - it looks like the front console piece 17480 (Trans Tunnel Top Front) needs to pass 3 grommets through, and that pieces goes over 60161/60162 (Cockpit Trans Side, L/R). Go ahead and install those? I Won't install the trans tunnel top front until the wiring is closer to wrapped but I'll drill/cleco it.

2 - Wire groups through the Trans Tunnel . 1- Engine "power" - alt/starter solenoid 2 - sending units 3 - RF EFI bundle 4 - Rear Harness. I'm hoping I join the RF EFI bundle into the Engine Power one, as I suspect it shouldn't go with the sending units. Is 3 right? Any certain distance from the top edge of the tunnel I should aim for to be reasonably hidden?

3 - Front Harness - I think going through 60139 Footbox Inside Upper Wall, Left (outer wing, I don't have it installed yet) will be the cleanest and out of the way? I've got AN Bulkheads for hydraulics on the footbox front.

Pics below. Thanks!!!

On that under dash panel with your three grommet holes going through it, I cut the panel in half just below your grommet holes for ease of use for the then lower panel. Can take off and replace easie,r and the cut will be hidden under the dash. Someone else of the Forum suggested this idea.
Just a comment.

For those following along, maybe in the future -

I installed 60161/60162 (Cockpit Trans Side, L/R). Also added a circuit in rear harness for Reverse / Backup light, with an exit at the trans to grab a pigtail off the reverse switch of TKX. I'll be switching ground. Loosely draped rear harness in place.

Next up - I'll be drilling 17480 (Trans Tunnel Top Front) 3x for the grommets. 1) Engine "power" - alt/starter solenoid & add RF EFI bundle 2) sending units 3) Rear Harness. Front harness to go through the left footbox wing - 17939 / LEFT FOOTBOX FRONT OUTSIDE.
