I am starting the radiator hose set up for my MK5, BP 347", angled lower radiator connector. Do not want to use the FFR supplied corrugated material. Does Boig Automotive, now Tubular Automotive, make anything for the MK5. In googling Tubular, all I see are their header products. I see by a search of the Forum that some have been able to modify the Boig MK4 upper tube system to fit. The lower assembly is more complicated to snake through the new frame. I understand Breeze may be making something but have not heard back from an inquiry.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ralph

Your best bet is to contact them and ask. They have things going on that aren't on their website. I have a prototype lower radiator hose for the Mk5 and a Coyote. An example of what's not on their website. One caution. Factory Five has provided radiators that have a straight lower connection and some that are angled. Make sure what you get is compatible with the radiator you have.

Paul, thanks for your response. I had noticed in your build thread comment about the lower hose tube, and your having the straight-out lower attachment verses the angled one that I have. Not sure if the other end of the tube for the Coyote lower water pump outlet is comparable to the 302". If so, your prototype may work in my application.
I plan to give them a call tomorrow.
By the way, your seat riser supports are awesome, and should survive a nuclear event.
Thanks, Ralph

Another option, which I've been thinking of going with is, -20AN fittings and hoses. I ran across a Youtube video about going with AN fittings/hose and while expensive, seems like a nice solution.

My lower radiator hose setup for my MKIV is from Breeze. Not sure if Mark is making anything for the MKV but you might call him.
If you want metal tubes like Boig you can make them yourself from aluminum tubing. Fill it with fine sand, apply a little heat, and bend to the shape you need. Easy peasy. Then bead the ends for rubber hoses with one of these https://www.holley.com/brands/earls/products/plumbing_an_fittings_and_hose/plumbing_tools/beaders/

Although I'm far from radiator hoses yet I was curious about this also, let us know what you find out.
I've got the same engine setup as you.

Talked to Tubular Automotive today, nice gentleman. He indicated sending some prototypes for upper and lower tubing to folks, but he never heard back if they fit. I told him of post of using the upper kit for the MK4, and it fit the MK5, but he was not aware of that. He had sent out some lower prototypes also, but he didn't know if they fit. He said if I sent him a mockup of the lower I need for may application, he would fab up something and send to me. I thought that was very generous of him, since he said it would be free if it worked, and they could put it in their inventory.
He indicated 90% of their sales were custom headers, but he spent about 25% of his time trying to help FFR builders. How gracious is that?
I ordered his MK4 upper, and he will add extra rubber on each end so I can cut to fit.
Just sharing. Thanks, Ralph

Update: I fabricated the lower radiator route for my MK5 with a BP347 today and will send it to Tubular Automotive for them to make up a prototype, per their offer. I used 1 1/2" pvc tubing with angled fittings to lay out the route. Hopefully they can come up with something that will fit, and then be available to other builders.

Hi It's Mark Reynolds from Breeze here. Just want to confirm that I have no plans to introduce radiator hose and tube kits specifically for the MkV Roadster.

I’m in the middle of some upgrades. Another FFR owner turned me on to these guys; Autoplumb. Converting everything to AN hose. Amazon carries a line of AN hose and fittings. Evil Energy. Pretty reasonable.

Did you go with -16 or -20 ?
