EFI wiring question

I’m using a Sniper EFI and Hyperspark ignition box. Each gets power direct from the battery. And each requires a 12V switched source from the ignition. Should I splice these two wires together and connect to the orange EFI OR COiL wire on the harness?

And does this EFI OR COIL wire have power during cranking? I see a separate blue EFI CRANK POWER wire but I’m thinking that is not necessary if the EFI OR COIL wire is powered during cranking.

You want the orange EFI wire for your switched 12V, it is hot during cranking. that's what I used on my MKIV.

As Mike says, you want the orange EFI OR COIL wire. The blue EFI CRANK POWER wire is ONLY hot when the key is at START. It's used for systems that need a crank signal; not applicable in your case but this post may help someone down the road doing a search.
