Quick question about the rear shocks. I have them already installed with the shock body mounted to the top bracket. This is how it is referenced in the manual for Koni Shocks; however, I have seen multiple builds to include the factory five online tutorial video with the shock body on the bottom. There is also just one picture in the manual with the shock body on the bottom, what am I missing here. It clearly says mount shock body on top mount. Does this matter? or do I have them backwards. the only issue I see is the clearance between the springs and the lower mounts is pretty close though I have not messed with the pinion angle at all.
Thanks.

When I build a Mk4 3 link car with the single adjustable Konis I install them body down.

Thanks for the posts gents. The manual shows it body up on on like three pages and just a hint of the body down on the Panhard bar installation page. Once again, shows us novices how great this forum is.

Definitely Great Forum!! I just posted about the spring locks riding on the brackets, shock body down, and got a great response and help. Definitely set that pinion angle before you go-cart. Also, I think with the shock body up, and even the correct pinion angle, the springs may bind or scrape the bracket.

Much more better, wasn’t difficult to switch them around and certainly more clearance now. Thanks Gents223573
