Gas pedal issue

I pressed down on the accelerator pedal and had to go down all the way to the foot box. I took it apart and saw the the teeth had been stripped. I have taken it easy on the pedal and have very few miles on it. Has anyone else had issues with the accelerator pedal like this. Any suggestions.

Are you using the pedal provided in the complete kit? I have a RT pedal but recall the pedal from the kit has a ton of teeth with a pretty tight fit. I’d be surprised to see them all stripped unless the through bolt was really loose and it wore down over time

I did not use the pedal from my kit, so I can't offer advice on the pivot. If you want to replace yours, you can have my pedal for the cost of shipping. PM me and let me know!

Thank you very much for the offer Jason. FF said they were going to send me one but havent seen it yet. I ended machining an insert to replace the plastic inserts so I could weld it. I TIG welded the teeth together and it will never slip again.
