I’ve been enjoying the car prior to paint next month. I have 250 miles. Almost ready for my break-in oil change! I was wondering if how I ran my heater hoses may cause fuel system issues. Should I reroute them away from the fuel lines? Thanks for the help!

I routed mine so they go way out and almost under the fender on the passenger side. This way they are out of the way of fuel lines and you still get a good view of the valve covers.

I did the same as Wizbangdoodle

3x, run them across and under the fender, or just get rid of the carb.

or just get rid of the carb.

Of course I'm going to agree with Rich here:o

This was in the comments of a FB engine group I'm in and I thought it was too funny.

That is a Sniper 2…

I ran mine the same as you have them, just tucked them down as low as possible in the intake / valve cover valley. I have a Sniper 1 with the fuel lines entering at the rear so the area for heat transfer is much smaller. Properly routed you should have a couple of inches separation between the fuel lines and the heater hoses and any heat transfer would be minimal.

I tried to simply move the hoses without modification and was able to route them straight across. I like the look of them across the intake so I may try to find a way to secure them as Norm did. Thanks for the advice!
