I have a functioning time machine (I know it sounds unbelievable, but I assure you it works) that I need a 2nd person to operate with me.
I'm looking for someone who is adventurous and reliable. Preferable a male; or a female that can do heavy lifting.
I am leaving on February 21st, 2011, in the morning and plan to return February 22nd, 2011. I am going to November 1933 to handle some business.
If you are serious about time travel and are reliable, then please contact me. You do not have to pay anything, but you would have to provide someone to watch my cat for the time we are gone. The only qualifications needed are that you are reliable and that the circumferance of your head is no more than 64cm.

We will be leaving from Brandon, MS. Let me know if you want to go with me.

•Location: Brandon, MS
•it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
•Compensation: no pay

Now, the question I have, just how many people took the ad seriously and responded to it

I've seen it here in my craigslist also, killer part is he'll be gone 1 day and he needs someone to watch a cat! Like they can't live alone for a couPle of weeks!!!

He's got a time travel machine. Couldn't a future him just take another trip and land the day he leaves on his first trip and watch the cat himself?

That was what I wondering. Just set your return time to 1 sec after you leave and the cat will never know you're gone. I've done it and came back a week later and my cat acted like I never left. The dog on the other hand freaks out if I'm gone more than a couple of minutes. This is simple time travel stuff, anyone knows this.

I just measured my head, looks like I am out :-(

I was so looking forward to going to 1933 too. Why would you go to 1933???? I'm thinking I would go to the early 60's, buy a big barn and fill it with the best cars of the day, then come back to find them :-)

The sad thing is on Feb 22nd we will probably see in the news that some guy in Branson died trying to time travel.

Oh come one now all time travelers like myself know full well you have to leave more time for the return than one second. If you leave and come back only one second after you left you might think you never left and just keep doing it. One time I left and completely forgot about Fall daylight savings time. I got caught in the back-an-hour loop for years, until I finally set the machine to come back at the Spring equinox and moved forward by an hour. Always leave extra time to fix your mistakes......I wonder what business the guy had back in 1933? That is the question I'd be asking. Buy some gold?

Yup, they know, I can just see it now, his cat sitting there watching his owner play with all of the electrical doodads attached to his head thinking: " this fool is not coming back".........

But they don't give a crap.

They may not give a crap, but they certainly smell like it.

Me thinks it is communication in code. So which cities on craigslist is he posting this on? Perhaps something is planned for November or February? Perhaps 64cm is relevent and what is in or near Brandon, MS? Military Base?
