CSX2287 at Simeone Foundation Demo Day

I wanted to share these pictures that I got of the original coupe at the Simeone Foundation. They took it outside to run laps around the back lot. It sounded awesome and looked much better out in the sun. I'm about 6 months into my Type 65 build and it was fun to see how raw the original one is.

Interesting to see close up photos. I guess I just assumed the originals would be kept in pristine condition. Kinda cool to see the wear and tear of a real racecar

The other five originals have been fully restored, but like all of the cars in Simeone's collection, he was more interested in preservation of the cars as they raced.
