Gents:

My $20 Walmart car cover from 2006 is past it's life. It's been washed at least a dozen times. Back in the day this was called "Size 2".

I'm hoping for something not baggy because mine is - and it's amazing how much dust still gets under there when the car is sitting for 4 months.

Single rollbar if that matters at all.

EDIT: Looking for just a cheap one and not a $500 custom one with stripes and my face on the meatball...

Car covers will scratch the paint. I use what body shops use, a thin plastic disposable cover. They work to keep the dust off.

carcovers.com has one that fits these cars perfectly. I bought one of their indoor covers, very soft and I like it a lot.

I've only used it a couple of times but it kept Redbone dry when we've gotten caught during bad weather.

I've got a different (Very Stretchy Cover) that I use in the garage to keep the dust off.

My wife just sewed two bedsheets together and you just drape it over. Just for dust protection, and if it is soft enough for your butt, it is good enough for the car.
I would not recommend using fitted sheets.

.
Just another tip (you may already be doing it). I also have a drip try (a sheet metal tray used to collect oil drips) with a sizable amount of moth balls under my car......keeps any mice from setting up shop and chewing my wiring. I have a reasonably "tight" building and have never seen a mouse but it's cheap insurance.

Almost purchased and then I saw $53 for shipping. Nope.

the above + the second one above = got it!

I noticed it on the Factory Five Cars Rule Facebook group.

Yes, the shipping to LaLa Land was expensive, but still for $142with tax I'm happy!

I was looking to spend $80 on a Miata cover but the one from Factory Five will remedy my main complaint - the one I have now fits so loose I'm shocked at how much dust gets under there after say 4 months of storage.

It can be windy where I live and it's an ordinary 2-car garage, not a deep garage or tandem. just a bit of woodworking and it's amazing how easily stuff finds itself under the cover.

I went with amazon, fits like a glove and soft. Im not worried about micro scratches in the paint from it... its a car not a museum piece223151 223152
