Have a MKV 30th with a Gen 4 Coyote - using the fuel system furnished for the Coyote by Factory Five.

First question is the Coyote instructions say to use the kit-provided flexible fuel line (5/16) from the fuel pump to the fuel filter. I have a 3/8” flexible fuel line, but not 5/16 - is this an error in instructions, and error in packing, or some user error?

Second, when connecting the braided lines to the fuel pump there is a little white plastic piece (see pic for reference) - where are these? I cannot find then in the kit.

Third, are the connectors for the non-braided lines (to connect from the fuel pump to the fuel filter) black now? (The instructions show them as white). Second picture shows the three I could find- the left one is 3/8” - the other two are, well, smaller. Not sure where to go from here w/o the parts.222522

You should have received fuel pump efi pick up and the 350 lph efi fuel pump etc with your kit if you got the drive train from factoryfive-at.com etc

Yes, I have the fuel pump EFI kit, braided lines, etc… I just can’t find those white plastic pieces to connect the braided lines (should be three, one for each line) - even with the Coyote kit, there are still parts used from the standard kit, namely the rubber fuel line that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel filter - and those connectors are eluding me as well, as well as the size, the manual says 5/16, and I only have a 3/18 that is of that length (for that matter, I don’t have any 5/16” rubber lines).

Those shouldn't get used, that look like old style donor parts. Should run 3/8 fuel line

Will use the 3/8” line then. And Which shouldn’t get used? The black connectors? …still need two for the 3/8 line I cannot find.
And those pesky white plastic things for the Coyote EFI braided lines…

I am not sure which you should use but I wouldn't get too hung up on pictures vs reality, they are quite different, quite often. All my fuel connectors were in box 28 and they were primarily for connecting to the fuel rail.

The quick fuel disconnects that came in my 20th Anniversary kit LEAKED!
Throw them in the trash, where they will not endanger anyone and buy a name brand.
good luck,
