Hey guys.

I received the FFR Gen 4 engine and transmission yesterday and was going through the parts and noticed they included the airbox and MAF sensor. I also received the Coyote installation kit as well.

In the installation kit it includes the aluminum maf housing and air filter, however in the ECU instructions it says the factory airbox must be used for proper calibration.

So my question is do i use the factory airbox and figure out how to mount that or use the one provided by Factory Five?

Thank you

You'll use the FFR intake parts along with the MAF sensor. This is why it's pretty much a requirement to get either a dyno tune or a remote tune from someone like Lund Racing.

Ok thanks, that makes sense.

Make sure you take the Mass air meter out of the housing before throwing it out.

What Mike says above. I listed mine on Ebay for 3 weeks or so, didn't get any bites so I pitched it in the recycling bin. A couple of weeks later I realized I had thrown away my +$100 sensor....
