Hey All,

So, I'm close to getting on the road. I have seen several cars without hoods... that will be me for a bit while I get the hinge/pins/latches all figured out.

What do I need to consider before going down the road this way? I did a search here and on the 'other' forum, but I did not come up with much...

Thanks!
Gale

An aIr cleaner, my 34 has no hood. Runs fine even in the rain

Rip, thanks for the reply!

Sounds great! I like that, "an air cleaner." :)

It's illegal (at least here) so if a cop wants to be a dick he could ticket/tow you, but that's an unlikely event.

efn... good thought. I'll see if we have any statues I can find that talk about a hood. I know one of the local guys ran sans hood quite a bit. I am pinging him, too, for his experiences.
