Hello. Has anyone installed a digital dash in their Roadster? If so, where on the dash did you mount it?

I would like to know if there is sufficient room in the Roadster dash above the steering column to install an approximately 10" digital dash display. I'm familiar with the wiring and electronics concepts. I'm aware of other posts describing digital dashes in the Coupe and 818 but cannot find Roadster examples.

Thank you for your kind responses.

Dan's roadster build thread has a lot of info you may want to read:

I don't think a 10 inch display would fit above the steering column.

A 10' tall display won't even fit in the center of the dash, let alone above the steering column.

Thank you. I somehow missed this in my search. Exactly what I was looking for.

I assume he's talking about a 10" (on the diagonal) display, so it might be 6-8 in height. Still tight.

Correct. A 10" diagonal, like the Holley schematic shown above.

Thank you, I will send a PM soon. Much appreciated. Your dash is precisely the concept I have in mind.

Here's a pic of my dash. This is the 7" Holley display. No way it would fit above the steering wheel. i moved it as close as I could for better viewing. It washes out quite a bit when the sun is behind you.

I put the smaller Holley in my dash. I tried not to get it too far behind the steering wheel.

Fantastic, that helps much.

Saw this at the Peterson Museum yesterday. It’s not an original but clearly others have done a digital dash…

I can't decide which is worse, that awful yellow color or the dash.

I could live with the color. :( I already gave the same response as yours
