@richgrsc tells me that with my setup the clutch cable will hit a rear sump oil pan. So, I thought I would go with a front sump to alleviate the issue as I have an issue with modifying a brand new part to fit. Have others run in to this issue and if so, what oil pan did you end up going with? I've looked at Canton, Kevco, Champ and Aviaid with only the Aviaid and Champ pans in a front sump that are less than 8" in depth (don't want the pan hanging below the frame rails).
Thanks,
Tim

Are you currently using a stock or an after market oil pan (7+ quart)? I have a front sump pan on my MK3 and have around 3 inches of space between my clutch cable and the side of the pan.

What rear sump pan? The stock one clears fine on a stock setup. The issue there is pan depth. If you go to a "T" type, you may/may-not run into issues. I know a few who run rear sumps without issue and I'm one, but my pan isn't offered by Canton anymore. You can always have a custom pan made. I also have friends that run a "T" type without issues and cable clutch.
