Wind Wings Installation

Thank you for every one who replied to the installation of the sun visor.

I am concerned about using the 4 screws that hold the mounting frame to the windshield . The wind wing hardware I have wants me to use two of those 4 screws to mount the wind wings. I have a feeling that those 4 screws may be under stress if the shims I used to attach the supports are not perfect. That means when I release the screws I might see some movement of the supporting arm.
I have noticed on line there was a hardware package that allowed you to clamp the wind wing to the inside edge of the windshield support., not using the two screws on the windshield. We looked on line trying to fine that clamp on hardware. We have seen several pictures of the wind wings installation using that clip on hardware. It seems the safer way of mounting the wind wings.
Any one know where we can purchase the clip on hardware or a better way of installing the wind wing .

Sounds like your wind wings sre not the ones produced by Factory Five. The FFR wings clamp onto the windshield post and do not use the screws that attach the windscreen to the post.

First of all , Jeff, thanks you so much for all your help and suggestions. We are so close to inspection day. You are correct. We ordered the wings way back but FF never sent their hardware. We ended up ordering hardware from Finish line because FF was out of the hardware and its not correct. Will talk to FF tomorrow and if necessary order again the entire kit.
