Sometimes we want Formula One-like downforce so we can corner better.
Sometimes we want low drag for fuel efficiency.

So how about including some sort of aerodynamic customization into the body?

Either the option of full on active aero.
Or Manual aero where you choose manually before a ride.
Or the option to go between high and low df by adding, taking away wings from the body.
Or a body shape choice you make from the factory?

For $15k???? Somehow I don't think you can get the aero you are looking for with ground clearance in excess of 2". Tunnels give you the best downforce with the least drag penalty.

Just starting a discussion. I really like when aero and cooling are well done as in the GTM supercar. I fully agree I'm not the expert, in aero design or even with budgetary concerns :)

I don't think "active" aero is an option for a $15,000 kit car. On the other hand, I would like to see a flat floor with tunnels / real diffuser. If this car wants to be positioned as a serious racing car, it should have more than token down force.
