We are close to our inspection here in Ocala Fl. Has anyone been required to have a Catalytic Converter in Florida. On the Title forms We put Factory Five as the make or manufacture and the year 1965. Also has anyone in Florida have to get their FF roadster weighed to get a title. We are hearing all different stories about this process.
Thanks
Cleve

From my experience (until I went the Montana route) was:

Yes you need a weight slip. The FFR MSO weight isn't gonna cut it.
No, you don't need a CAT. Tampa doesn't do emissions testing, and I'm pretty sure all of FL doesn't.

Before you go all-in, make sure your local DMV is actually able to use Factor Five Racing and 1965 on the title. Mine wasn't, hence the reason I went Montana.

Now, all the Montana haters can form an orderly line below...

I don't know about Fl but in some other states emissions is more of a county by county thing so check your county as well as state regs.

That's also true. Back when I lived in Wisconsin, Sheboygan and Milwaukee counties had emissions testing, BUT it was based on the year of your vehicle. I seem to recall if it was more than two years old but less than 15 or 20 you had to have a sniff test.
