I have been STRUGGLING with the search engines from the major suppliers (Summit, Jeg's, etc) when trying to find a part. The results are FAR too broad. It's not uncommon to get thousands of parts as a result of a search. When looking for braided hose recently, I got over twenty thousand. (On the Summit website, I typed in "6AN braided hose"). I got anyrhing with a "6", anything having to do with hose, anything that said "AN", etc) It's ridiculous.
I have found a solution. GOOGLE. I just Google the part (with a limiting description). For example: I will type in "Summit Racing 6AN braided hose" and it comes right up, as well as a few outside links for the same item from other suppliers (sometimes cheaper). Try it if you're frustrated.

Most AN fittings and hose I use are Earl's so I go to the Holley website and find what I need as it's tons easier. Then put the part number in Summit and order it. I do this for a lot of other parts also.

Going to have to try the Google trick, thanks for that.

I find the Summit word search can return a whole host of varieties. I have started to use the filters on the left side of the website, and this has helped me narrow down my search significantly. I also do something similar to what Mike stated and find a part number in other ways then go to Summit with that.

Also sometimes you can find a similar part at Summit that may be the wrong size or color or something. But the configuration of the Summit part # is usually the manufacturer's # plus 'SUM' or similar. So if you get close to what you want, take a manufacturer # and ad whatever is needed to convert it to a Summit #. I used to do that a lot w/ QA1 and SPC parts.
