First, I am not an electrical guy and am working my way through this. I have these 4 wires.

It appears that the three red wires all attach to the hot side of the solenoid.
221908
...and the little blue wire goes to the small terminal on top.

Can I run the "Battery Feed" wire and the "Ign SW-sol" wire to the hot side of my battery cut-off switch instead of running them all the way to the starter? The big fat red wire with no name appears to probably have to go all the way to the starter....

Thanks in advance

I ran the 4 awg cable from the battery to the starter. I ran all the harness power feeds to a buss bar. I ran another 4 awg cable from the starter to the buss bar.

It seems like your plan to connect them to the battery cutoff would work if you still want power to everything in the fuse block with the cutoff in either position.

Yes. Will work fine.

I did similar to Papa, but ran a 4 ga. from my alternator to the starter, then starter to battery. I ran a second 4 ga. from the battery, through a large breaker in the engine bay to a buss bar behind the dash, where I connected the other red wires. Made for a much cleaner install and very clean power to the main fuse panel and accessories by not running through the starter lug but straight to the battery.

You have a 200 amp alternator?

Nope, just a factory GM 105 amp alternator.

Running to the "hot" side of the battery switch won't be effective if you intend those circuits to be disabled with the switch off.

Yep, I am going to run them to the "cold" side of the switch. Thanks.
