Hello all,
Wondering what other inventive things people have done? The carpet in that area in the Cobra just don't "Do it" for me. I've seen some use stick on grip tape, and others make things out of metal. Show me you're cool ideas!

I have Factory Five's floor mats and 1/4" aluminum diamond plate. I laid-down the floor mat and placed the diamond plate on top of it. that'll make it easier to remove and clean when necessary.

I cut a piece of aluminum diamond plate to fit. It is press fit to my floor. Sorry don't have a picture. Side benefit is that it allows my clutch foot to slide in and out easier.

Probably not necessary but I reinforced the floor. Mostly because the thin .041 aluminum felt flimsy.
I also made a bracket to support and seal the engine side panel.

Thick black plastic mud flap material from Napa cut to tightly fit where the carpet would go. Easy to wipe clean and replace. Did the same for passenger side. All other areas are the supplied carpet.
